I am 13 years old, and I am extremely overweight, possibly 100+. I want to look good for highschool. This year I am going into 8th grade. I need to lose a lot of weight and tone my muscles. I don’t want to go on a strict diet or go to the gym or spend a lot of money. Any tips?

You don’t have to go on a strict diet, but you do have to take healthy foods. More fruits and vegetables, whole grains, cut down on meats. Try to cut out junk food as much as you can. Less sodas (diet sodas aren’t a reasonable substitute) more milk and water.
And you don’t have to go to the gym. Begin going for walks each evening around your neighborhood. Begin small, as much as you can, and you’ll gradually build up.
Don’t anticipate swift results, weight loss and muscle toning doesn’t work like that. It takes time, but if you’re patient and consistent you’ll see results.

1?Eat more vegetables. Aim for five vegetables a day and gradually add more to your daily menus. Natural, unprocessed foods are best in regards to losing weight. Swap your regular snacks for carrot sticks, cut-up celery and cucumbers or canned vegetables.
