Question by Jimmy Dean: what are some good swift diets to lose weight?
I dont want anything to do with pills or stupid “as seen on tv” ideas. I also dont want any excercise recommendations because thats a given in a weight loss plan.

I lost 15 pounds very quickly, but I don’t think it was the easiest way — I had part of my leg amputated.

go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7
p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or
to buy special meals or plans.

get the lean for life book. Or http://www.lindora.com it is a medical weight loss.
I have 4 friends that lost about 50 to 100 pounds each doing the program. All have kept it off for a year and some two years now. It is a quick weight loss, but you have to stick to the diet…low carb and low calorie intake. one friend lost 40 in 4 months….she looks great, and has totally changed how she eats now. She has since gone to weight watchers, and that is how she keeps healthy. Hope this helps!

I think it depends on your body type– if you are carb intolerant or calorie intolerant. For me, I am carb intolerant and when I lower my carb intake, I can lose 10-15 lbs in a month the first month. It slows quickly after the first month. Keep in mind, I am also doing proper exercise with cardio and strength training while lowering my carbs. And I am not completely cutting out carbs, just lowering (no soda, easy on the fruit, no candy, cake ect). But if I do not keep at it, I gain it back pretty easily as well. Also, do not starve yourself. Eat 5-6 small meals all day instead of one or two meals. Eating small meals spread throughout the day helps your body to know it wont be starving and keeps that metabolism up.

    In any case, good luck.

good and quick don’t work together with the words weight loss

for starters, it isn’t healthy to lose more than 2lbs per week, and it isn’t practical. Your body wants desperately to hold on to fat. You have to sneak it away little by little, or else you will go into “starvation mode” much of any weight you lose will be muscle, which is counter productive. When you finally give up on a crash diet (which will happen), you will gain all you’re fat back, plus more.

Crash diets don’t work, plain and simple. Your body naturally eats just enough food to maintain your wait. And you naturally will tend to eat foods that contain proper nutrients.

For your first week, Don’t make any adjustments. Just notice the types of foods that you eat, when you eat them and how often. Record them and keep track of how many calories you are eating.

Reduce this number by 500 calories. Then there are the obvious things to cut out. Fast food and soda pop, etc, but you can substitute these harmful foods with goodies like veggie burgers/ turkey burgers, and fruit juice, which taste just as good if not better.

After several weeks of your reduced diet with exorcise you will certainly see noticeable results.
